Hi, I’m Janet Mariyam Thomas.
I’m a Psychologist and Expressive Art Therapy Practitioner in the field of mental health and well-being. I hold an M.Sc. in Counselling Psychology and have completed a Certificate Course in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I’m currently pursuing a Diploma in Expressive Arts Therapy, further developing my skills in integrating creative approaches into the counselling process.
I work with individuals through individual counselling, group counselling, and workshops, supporting concerns such as anxiety and stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationship and interpersonal concerns, academic and work-related stress, grief and loss, life transitions, and personal growth.
My approach is client-centred, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I aim to create a safe and comfortable space where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and concerns without fear of judgment.
I believe that every individual is unique, and counselling should be tailored to their specific needs and experiences. I use appropriate therapeutic and creative approaches to help clients develop greater self-understanding, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
